Who Life On Meadow Lane is for

Life On Meadow Lane Was Specifically Designed for YOU (and here’s why)

I am tired of looking around and seeing people letting their green friends die…I’m not talking about aliens, I mean plants! So many people are struggling with it, and there just hasn’t been a solid resource for beginners to help them effectively keep plants alive.

So I decided to build it. Let me explain the what’s, why’s, and how’s right now.

Life On Meadow Lane Was Designed for Families and Beginners Who Want to Grow Their Own Plants Indoors

I want everyone to have a home with a bright, green feel, with cleaner, purified air. A home with plants has that and more. Life is literally growing in your hands. What a great feeling! I love to nurture plants and will show you how to as well.

Having an outdoor garden is a wonderful experience. Growing vegetables and fruits that you can bring into your home that you can eat and share with your family is extremely rewarding. I have had an outdoor garden for many summers. I’ve grown tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, giant zucchinis, and kohlrabi. My garden lasts about two months, due to the midwest environment I live in.

I want to be able to garden year-round! I want fresh greens that I can go cut for a salad in December. This is a journey that you will embark on with me. If you live in a climate that is too cold for a year-round outdoor garden or too hot for one, I will show you how to have food indoors whenever you wish. I want my sons to be able to cultivate a love for growing their own lunch and their palate as well. Children are more apt to eating veggies that they had a hand in growing and harvesting. I want this for your children too.

The best part is, that I will make it easy for you. I want your children to be involved too. They can enjoy learning a skill that can serve them for the rest of their lives. How to care for something, how to be responsible, how to problem solve, and possibly grow some of their own food.

I will teach you about houseplant selection, care, nourishment, and pest control all for the beginner and child gardener in mind. My wish for my readers is that you gain access to the wonderful world of indoor gardening in an attainable way. Methods that become natural, enjoyable, and are so simple, that your kids will be able to take charge!

My posts will be a culmination of my own research and trials of the indoor gardening realm. I will show you step by step how to create a sustainable indoor garden and how to have beautiful houseplants. I will help you keep your plants alive and thriving. I will share a weekly post full of information for the beginner grower in mind. My posts will inform enlighten and hopefully entertain!
